How to Install Crown Molding on Thomasville Cabinets ?

Steps
  • Use your measuring tape to measure the height of each cabinet. Do not forget to write down the measurements of the sides of each cabinet. You may have different-sized cabinets according to the size of your kitchen and its cabinets.
  • Use your pencil to mark the crown molding pieces based on the measurement. If you use a pencil, it will be easy for you to wipe off the marks after cutting. Follow the measurement when cutting the crown molding into pieces for each side of the cabinet. Cut the ends of each piece at a 45-degreee angle.
  • Take one piece of crown molding and hold it along the top of the cabinet. Use a 1-inch wood nail to attach the piece to the cabinet. Follow the same steps for the three additional pieces of crown molding. Attach them to the cabinet while lining the pieces up together.
  • If you want to install crown molding for other cabinets in your kitchen, then repeat step 3 on them.
  • Finally, apply a dab of wood putty to the top of each nail and use your hand to smooth down. Sand the top of the putty gently using fine-grit sandpaper after being dry overnight.
Your Thomasville kitchen cabinets are now ready to appear with different look and elegance.
