Use the suitable length of screw in accordance with the door thickness. If you need to drill a hole, do not forget to leave 1/4 inch to screw into the knob. Use only a drill bit the same size of the screw, 1/64 of an inch thicker is recommended. Remember that the thickness of the screw is also important.
